Graduation Photographs ....
Cap and Gown:
You don't have to choose between cap and no cap. You
can purchase a package of each or a package of one and
add individual photographs of the other.
We mention this because often the Graduates don't want
the cap, but the parents do.
We also recommend a package containing two 8x10
photographs so that when your child leaves home they
will have a good size portrait to remind them of one of
their greatest achievements and of course you will have
your 8x10 in your home. This is something we discovered
talking to many parents over the years, so we thought
that we would pass this idea on.
Retouching:
It makes all the difference! Over 75% choose it,
many prefer not to remember blemishes, braces and tired
looking eyes (from all the studying or was it all the
partying?). Put it this way; no one has ever collected
their package and said, "I regret having retouching
done, you made me look great." Most just say, "Wow!"
We will give you honest advice if we think retouching is
appropriate - no pressure!
Protective Coating:
If you don't put a portrait behind glass it can
easily be damaged. If it's behind glass, dust and
dampness can ruin it.
Sometimes the glass breaks
damaging the portrait. Many times (at no
charge) we have attempted to soak the glass and portrait
to separate them so the customer would not have to buy a
replacement but more often than not it takes days and
the surface of the portrait degrades leaving us no
choice other than recommending a new portrait. Customers
always reorder with the Protective Coating! The coating
also looks more contemporary and is easily cleaned with
a damp cloth. It is easer to keep clean over the years
than glass. But, you are the customer; you decide.

Formal:
When will you wear that gorgeous dress again or that
tuxedo? Let us capture that moment and make you look
your best. Only a professional can do this adequately.
Recently a customer commented on a 20x30 portrait in our
window. "She looks so life like!" The customer
appreciated the eye and hair detail, the beads on the
dress and shoes and the weave of the fabric in the dress
all recorded as it was in real life. But we do use the
best camera in the world - the only one in Southern
Alberta! By the way - tuxedos look great - they show the
true quality of the cloth.
Unfortunately the screen resolution when viewing images
on a website cannot reproduce the quality of our work
properly. Come in and see our portraits - we will make
you feel at home!
