FAQs

Q. What can I bring to my session?

A. To get the best from your A.E.Cross experience, we encourage you to bring things to enjoy. Whether it’s a musical instrument, sports or even a bow and arrow. Anything goes! The more personal and original the better, our talented photographer will find a cool way to use them in some of your images.

Q. What should we wear for our portrait session?

A. We shoot on a white background, so we ask you to avoid wearing white, cream or black tops; any other colours are fine. Solid colours work best, so avoid wearing anything with logos or patterns on; so it doesn’t look too busy. If everyone is wearing jeans or everyone is in black pants, this works well as it ties to all in nicely. Make sure everyone is wearing clean dark sock as we will be taking shoes off in the camera room, plus if you came wearing white sock on a white background you may have no feet! Plus, any ladies wearing make up, we recommend you wearing a little extra power or foundation to avoid shine.

Q. Can I wear my glasses?

A. If you also wear contact lens, we recommend you come wearing them. If you don’t wear contacts, you can just take your glasses off and go without or we have a number of different styled frames at the studio that don’t have lens in that you may wear; this is so we can see your eyes instead of lots of glair from the huge studio flash.

Q. I'm worried about booking a session because I don't feel that I look my best. What do you recommend?

A. Don’t postpone your session because of worries of weight or skin problems; our talented photographer will bring out the best in you. Should you still feel self conscious about your image, we offer affordable pricing on retouching.

Q. Can I bring my pet?

A. You sure can, we often have cats and dogs; just make sure they go to the bathroom before coming to the studio and bring some treats with you to keep them happy. If you have an unusual request please contact us in advance to ensure we can accommodate you and your pet.

Q. How long does the portrait session last?

A. Normally sessions take 20 to 30 minutes.

Q. When do I pay for my order?

A. At the time of your viewing & ordering session, your photographer will be giving you one to one personal service to help you with your ordering then will put your invoice together; at this time is when payment is made for you order and then we are able to start the work on your order.

Q. How long does it take to get my portraits?
